By 2027, it's projected that 59% of Australian women will have traveled overseas alone and 76% domestically. The majority, 83%, will invest more in safer accommodation, tours, and experiences.

Reasons for Solo Travel: 38% enjoy the freedom, 28% travel out of necessity, and 24% prefer to meet friends and family en route rather than travel together for the whole trip.

Proactive Precautions: 88% of women business travelers take safety precautions, such as informing family or work of their whereabouts (39%), avoiding after-hours events (25%), and placing obstacles against hotel doors (14%).
Industry Recognition: The travel industry is responding to the growing demand, with an increasing number of women-only tours available.
