Kmart is helping Australians refresh their homes at everyday low prices with the launch of its new August Living range—a bold, playful, and affordable collection designed to inspire creativity and self-expression in every space, available in-store and online from Thursday 24 July.
Developed by Kmart’s in-house design team in Melbourne, the August Living collection takes cues from international design movements and makes them accessible to everyone. From vibrant colour pops and wavy silhouettes to sculptural oversized accents and creative detailing, this range celebrates personality, versatility and joy in the home.

August Living empowers customers to express their individual style through a versatile and considered collection. It blends bold colours and playful forms with grounding natural tones and rich timber finishes for a balanced, harmonious look. Soft hues like sage and tan are elevated with fine linear textures, bringing a sense of quiet sophistication. Complemented by contrasting tones and tactile materials, the range offers a modern, curated aesthetic that makes every space feel warm, welcoming, and distinctly personal.
Stripes remain a key motif, reimagined across bedding, cushions, towels and décor. Curved, wavy forms and bold cylindrical shapes continue to dominate, while colour blocking and unexpected pops of brightness reflect the growing trend toward self-expression in interior styling.
